Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 VT Limited Edition will be auctioned
A limited edition of the iconic Lamborghini Diablo, named the 6.0 VT, will be auctioned at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale.
The Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 VT, which will be auctioned at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale, is one out of only 40 units to roll off the assembly line and this particular model is coming with only 12 miles on the odometer, living its entire life in a large climate controlled collection of a West Coast auto enthusiast. The Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 VT Limited Edition was only available in two exterior colors, the Marrone Eklipsis (Sunset Maroon) and the Oro Elios (Sunrise Gold), all of them being offered with titanium interior trim, navigation, DVD audio system and many other things.
Power to the Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 VT was being provided by a 6.0 liter V12 engine, also introduced in the Diablo GT, with an updated ECU, a new intake and new exhaust system, developing a total output of 549 horsepower and having a peak torque of 457 lb-ft (620 Nm), which is actually more than any other standard Diablo. The Lamborghini Diablo was the successor of the Countach and was also replaced by the Murcielago, back in 2001. There’s no official word on the price of the limited edition model which will be auctioned at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale, but considering the fact that this is a brand new classic supercar, expect it to be sold for a lot of money.
