Lamborghini, Ducati and Italian Air Force come together for “Passioni Tricolori” image

Some countries really have spectacular ways of being patriotic – for example Italy got the Passioni Tricolori out of a Lamborghini, a Ducati and an Aermacchi fighter jet.

And of course they look extremely cool together, given that Lamborghini partnered with group sister brand Ducati to celebrate their Italian heritage. And they also called in the Italian Air Force and convinced the National Aerobatics Team to put a show in the air while the supercars and bikes raced on the tarmac – and so Passioni Tricolori was born. Lamborghini brought in for the stunt the Huracan Super Trofeo and some GT3 racers. They also showed off the plane-inspired Huracan Avio and even an Aventador was used throughout the celebration.

Ducati stood to the challenge by bringing in MotoGP rider Andrea Dovizioso alongside his Desmosedici GP racing bike and Ducati Corse General Manager Luigi Dall’Igna was also present at the show. While the Ducati and Lamborghini vehicles were on display at the ground level, the National Aerobatics Team’s stunts were most likely the show grabbers thanks to the works performed in the Aermacchi 339 jets.
