Lamborghini has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the Egoista Concept, which has been created in order to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary.
The Italian based automaker Lamborghini is focusing on creating very limited editions of its supercars, like the Veneno, which has been officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, a couple of months ago. The newest creation signed by Lamborghini is named the Egoista and it has been created in order to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary. The model is a one-off concept car which has been designed by Walter de Silva.
“I am very attached to this Italian brand, being an Italian myself. I wanted to pay homage to and think up a vehicle to underline the fact that Lamborghinis have always been made with passion, and with the heart more than the head”, said Walter de Silva.
The brand new Lamborghini Egoista Concept is a single-seater whose looks have been inspired by an Apache helicopter. The model has a lightweight construction and carbon fiber has been used massively. The cockpit canopy can apparently be removed. The model is powered by a 5.2 liter V10 engine, which is producing a total output of 600 HP (441 kW). The Lamborghini Egoista won’t be put into production.
