A young Asian man driving a Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Bicolore has managed to crash the exotic ride in the United Kingdom, after losing control of the wheel.
A Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Bicolore has been involved in a crash recently, in Beaumont Leys, the United Kingdom. According to the local media, the exotic vehicle has been driven by a young Asian man who lost control of the wheel, went up onto the footpath, hit a tree and ended up looking the way it does. The good news is that the driver has managed to walk away unhurt but that cannot be said about his ego or the Italian supercar. The model looks salvageable but that doesn’t mean that it will be cheap to do it.
The Lamborghini Gallardo has been in production for ten years, since 2003, and it was the best-selling model to come from Sant’Agata Bolognese, with more than 14,000 units built throughout its lifetime. The supercar was offered in a two-door coupe or a two-door roadster body style, with a mid-engine and rear- / all-wheel drive layout, depending on the version selected. Power was being provided by a 5.0 liter V10 or a 5.2 liter V10 engine, connected to a six-speed manual or to a 6-speed automated manual transmission. The Gallardp LP550-2 Bicolore was a special edition released in 2010, getting a two-tone paintjob and finished in orange, yellow, grey, white or blue with a black roof and the unique Skorplus alloy wheels.
