A Lamborghini Gallardo supercar has been recently crashed by an automotive journalist during a test drive in China.
A 30-year old journalist, known as Zhu, who was supposed to be an experienced driver, managed to ruin a Lamborghini Gallardo in China recently, in the Hangzhou in Jiangsu Province. The journalist was taking the Italian supercar on a test drive but he soon found out that driving a powerful rear mid-engined rear-wheel drive supercar isn’t that easy. Happily, the guy walked away without any injuries, which is more than we can say about the Gallardo. Keep in mind that the supercar in question is priced at 536,000 USD in China.
As a small reminder, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 has been in production since 2008 and the supercar is being powered by a direct-injected 5.2 liter V10 engine, mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed E-gear. The model is 20 kg (44 lb) lighter than the standard 2008 Gallardo and its front bumper has been influenced by the Murcielago, while the exterior lights were inspired by the Reventon. The Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 is sitting on new 19-inch Apollo polished alloy wheels.
