The Italian based automaker Lamborghini has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the Gallardo GT3 FL2, which will enter the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
According to the car manufacturer, the Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 FL2 racer has been developed by the company’s R&D motorsport program and it will partner with Reiter Engineering, after signing a minimum five-year agreement with the German based company. Improvements to the Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 FL2 include the carbon fiber rear diffuser, the new front splitter and some other tweaks. The power-to-weight ratio has been improved after the Gallardo GT3 FL2 has lost 25 kg.
The Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 FL2 has been based on the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo and the model and it’s coming with improved engine cooling, reduced fuel consumption, “24-hour brakes” and more. Running the Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 FL2 will cost 9 euros / km (11.50 USD) and prices for the model start at 320,000 euros or 413,000 USD, plus taxes. The very first unit of the new Lamborghini race car will be delivered to teams on two continents, Europe and Asia, starting in March.
