Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Balboni supercar has been recently crashed in China, in a tunnel, for unknown reasons.
Where ever there will be exotic cars, there will also be exotic car crashes, this is what we have always said here on inautonews.com, and the latest example of such an unfortunate incident is coming all the way from China, where a Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Balboni has definitely seen better days. According to the guys at Wrecked Exotics, the Italian supercar in question has been crashed in a tunnel, along with two other vehicles, a Mercedes-Benz CLS and a Mercedes-Benz SLK. No more details on this accident are known for the moment, so if you know more than we do, please feel free to share.
As a quick reminder, the LP550-2 Balboni is a limited edition of the Gallardo, named after the company’s test driver Valentino Balboni. The engine of the supercar is developing a total output of 542 horsepower and the total weight of the model is 1,380 kg (3,000 lb). The Balboni Edition is coming with rear-wheel drive and it’s the first Gallardo ever to use the 2WD. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration takes just 3.9 seconds and the top speed of the supercar is 199 mph (almost 360 km/h). Prices of the Valentino Balboni Edition were starting at 162,000 euros (219,800 USD).
