The driver of a Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni has managed to crash his ride in China after trying to avoid a BMW 635i Convertible.
Supercars are meeting its end more often in China then ever but even if the one pictured below has only suffered some minor damage, the service bill will still be quite high, if the insurance won’t cover it. According to the Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni driver swerved to avoid the BMW 635i Convertible and lost control of the wheel, hitting the fence dividing the road. Happily, the owner of the Italian supercar has escaped without any injuries, and so did the occupants of the German sports car.
The Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni Edition has been produced in just 250 units and it was named after the company’s test driver. The model in question is weighing 1,470 kg (3,241 lb) and it’s coming with 542 HP, with a recalibrated optional E-gear transmission, with redeveloped limited slip differential, full black leather upholstery and a stripe down the center of the vehicle. The signature of Valentino Balboni is found below the left side window, along with the production number of the car.
