Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Gold Edition revealed at Shenzhen Hong Kong Macau Auto Show image

A special edition of the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, named the Gold Edition, has been officially presented to the public in China, at the Shenzhen Hong Kong Macau International Auto Show.

According to the Italian based automaker, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Gold Edition is standing out from the crowd with its gold metallic body paint, and new “special touches” include the engine cover, the new alloy wheels, the red stitching for the interior (seats and steering wheel) and some other minor “things”. The Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Gold Edition has been priced at 3 million Yuan, which translated into 600,000 USD, almost 200,000 USD more than a standard Gallardo in China.

As a quick reminder, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 has been officially presented to the public at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show and the model is powered by the company’s 5.2 liter V10 engine, which is developing a total output of 552 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) available at 6,500 rpm. The engine is featuring the direct injection fuel system in order to improve the fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions, which have been reduced by 18 percent, despite the increased performance.
