The first image of the all new Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera Edizione Technica has recently hit the web ahead of the model’s official debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
With the Italian based automaker Lamborghini teasing the successor of the Gallardo not too long ago, what seems to be a last special edition of the Italian supercar, which is named that Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera Edizione Technica, has recently leaked online. The carmaker may try to keep the model into the shadows for the moment but thanks to the guys at autoforum.cz, we now have an idea of what is will look like.
According to our source, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera Edizione Technica is getting the same 5.2 liter V10 engine under its hood, which is producing a total output of 570 HP (425 kW) available at 8,700 rpm. Power is being sent to an all-wheel drive system via a six-speed automatic robotized e-gear which is allowing the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds before reaching a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph). The Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera Edizione Technica is also coming with carbon ceramic brakes and other upgrades and its curb weight is expected to be lower than the standard model.
