The Lamborghini Gallardo recall is now affecting Canada and it’s expected to be expanded to the United States too, after being already announced in Australia.
A day before writing this news we were telling you about a recall which will affect the Lamborghini Gallardo in Australia because of a possible fire risk and now the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration in Canada is announcing a similar action for the Italian supercar. According to the Canadian “feds”, 96 units of the Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe and Spyder, from the model years 2004, 2005 and 2006, will have to be taken back to the dealers because of the same problem.
In Australia, Lamborghini said that it isn’t aware of any accidents or injuries related to this recall and owners of the affected vehicles have already been contacted by the company in order to arrange the appointment for necessary repairs. Approximately 70 units from the same model years of the Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe and the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder are affected by this recall in Australia. The models will be repaired at no cost from the owners and, depending on the configuration, the fix is expected to take between two and five business days.
