Another Lamborghini supercar has been crashed in China, this time a Gallardo Spyder, after its driver lost control of the wheel due to excessive speeding.
Driving a supercar fast isn’t for everyone and examples stand the numerous car crashes we report almost on a daily basis. The newest incident in which an impressive supercar has been involved is coming all the way from the city of Suzhou, in the Zhejiang Province, in China, where this Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder has definitely seen better days.
According to the local automotive media, the Italian supercar in question has lost traction because of the high speed and the driver lost control of the wheel. The Gallardo Spyder has been crashed into the barrier in the middle of the two-way road and bounced onto the median strip on its roof. Despite the severity of this crash, the driver survived but was taken to hospital to have his serious injuries treated.
The Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder has been officially presented during the Los Angeles Auto Show, back in 2008. This came with improvements such as the new 5.2 liter V10 engine, the E-gear transmission and a 20 kg weight reduction. The model was able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds before reaching a top speed of 324 km/h (201 mph).
