If you thought that supercar crashes aren’t what they used to be, think again, because the newest incident is coming from the Ukraine and it is involving a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. According to the guys from Wrecked Exotics, the Italian supercar in question has been hit by a Ford Fiesta, in Kiev. Our source isn’t saying how the crash exactly occurred, whose fault was it or if anyone was injured so please feel free to share if you know more on the subject than we do.
The Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder has been in production since 2003 until 2013, when it was replaced by the Huracan, which has seen daylight for the first time at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, back in March. The Gallardo was one of the most popular supercars ever produced by the company and it came in two body styles, with a mid-engine / all-wheel drive or a mid-engine / rear-wheel drive layout, depending on the selected version. Power was being provided by a 5.0 liter V10 or by a 5.2 liter V10 engine, connected to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automated manual transmission.
