The first ever unit of the brand new Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse has been recently spotted in the United States.
After it was officially presented to the public, in a premiere, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, back in September, the new Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corse LP570-4 is entering our news once again, this time with the first unit of the model making its debut in the United States. The model in question has been spotted at Cats Exotics and it was finished in Giallo Yellow, getting the tricolor stripes and the large GT3 rear wing.
The Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corse LP570-4 is taking its power from a V10 engine, which is producing a total output of 570 HP (419 kW). The unit is mated to a six-speed e-gear transmission, which is sending power to the all-wheel drive. This configuration is allowing the Italian supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.4 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph). The Gallardo Squadra Corse is based on the Gallardo Super Trofeo and its weight has been dropped to 1,340 kg (2,954 lbs), by 70 kg (154 lbs).
