The brand new Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corse will be priced from 259, 100 USD, in the United States, where only 15 units of the supercar will become available for order.
The Italian based automaker Lamborghini is currently working on the replacement for the Gallardo, which will be named the Cabrera, but before the model will leave the production line, one final version, or so it is believed, will place it into the spotlights once again. The supercar in question is named the Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse and it has been recently unveiled. Americans will receive only 15 units of the model and its price will be set at 259,100 USD, without the 2,100 USD gas guzzler tax and an unknown destination fee.
According to the car manufacturer, the Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corse will be available in white, grey, red and yellow, and the 15 units aimed towards the over-seas market will be finished exclusively in yellow (Giallo Midas). The Gallardo Squadra Corse will be powered by a V10 engine which is good for 570 HP (419 kW), mated to a six-speed e-gear transmission, “moving” the four wheels. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint will take 3.4 seconds and top speed will stand at 320 km/h (199 mph). The final edition of the Gallardo will make its public debut during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
