Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera gets crashed in Taiwan image

Another crashed supercar is popping into our news feed and this time it’s a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera.

The exotic vehicle has been crashed in Taiwan recently, by a 32-year old man, who has borrowed it from his friend for a few hours cruise. Hu Xiao, by his real name, went to meet two friends with similar supercars and when they met they started racing on the motorway. Things didn’t end well for the guy holding the wheel in the Sant’Agata Bolognese born supercar because he ended up colliding it with another vehicle, driven by a 43-year old woman. Happily, no one was injured in the unfortunate incident.

Xiao was doing 80 mph when the crash happened, according to the local police, and he was racing another orange Lamborghini Gallardo and a red Porsche. The rightful owner of the supercar, Song Mai, said that Xiao was a well-known petrol head and agreed to loan him the supercar. However, Mai added that this would be the last time Xiao would borrow something from him. As a small reminder, the Lamborghini Gallardo was produced between 2003 and 2013, being succeeded by the Huracan. The supercar was offered in two body styles, with a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel / all-wheel drive layout. The Superleggera came in 2007 and it had a 100 kg weight reduction. The total output of the engine was raised by 10 HP.
