A Lamborghini Gallardo has ended up in a pond recently and it took a Range Rover with it.
Fear of the unknown has made this Lamborghini Gallardo crash into a pond along with a Range Rover. Jokes left aside, according to the local police, the mid-engined vehicle has collided with the British SUV. The impact has made both models leave the road and end up in a pond. Both cars were damaged and chances are they will not be salvaged, that is if the insurance won’t cover the incident. The crash took place in the United States and happily no one was seriously injured in it.
As you probably already know, the Lamborghini Gallardo has been discontinued in late 2013, after ten years of production. This has left the assembly line in order to make room for its successor, the Huracan. The Gallardo was an Italian rear mid-engine and rear-wheel / all-wheel drive supercar, the company’s best-selling model ever. It has managed to find more than 14,000 new owners over its lifetime. The vehicle was offered in two body styles, two-door coupe and two-door roadster, and it was introduced in a lot of special editions. Under its hood, it came with either a 5.0 liter V10 or a 5.2 liter V10, connected to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automated manual transmission.
