Lamborghini will offer a new and final special edition of the Gallardo, before the model will leave the assembly line in order to make room for its replacement.
The Italian based automaker Lamborghini has already pulled the wraps off the because a brand new special edition of the supercar is now being planned.
“It will be the least-gilded, back-to-basics stripped version”, said Michael Lock, the Lamborghini of America chief operating officer. We are in an era when customers demand technology and products that adapt to them.”
No additional details on the final edition of the Lamborghini Gallardo have been released yet but the model is expected to come with a few aerodynamic enhancements and probably a small power boost. As a quick reminder, the Lamborghini Gallardo has been in production in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy, ever since 2003. Two engines are available for the Gallardo, a 5.0 liter V10 and a 5.2 liter V10, along with two transmissions, a six-speed manual and a six-speed automated manual.
