A one-off Lamborghini Gallardo with an impressive output, 1,200 HP, has been recently presented by its creators, Dallas Performance.
The Lamborghini Gallardo is around for several years and with its larger brother, the Murcielago, getting a replacement in the form of the Aventador, is now time for the “little” supercar to leave the production line. But until the “Raging Bull” will present the successor of the Gallardo, the model has went through some upgrades and thanks to the guys at Dallas Performance, it’s now developing an impressive 1,200 horsepower (895 kW).
According to Dallas Performance, the owner of the 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo in question has fitted his supercar with a Stage 1 package which increased the output of the engine to 650 whp (483 kW) with 93 octane fuel and to more than 800 whp (597 kW) with E85 or with VP C16 race fuel. The Italian supercar has went through another transformation by adding the Stage 2 package, which brought a different twin turbo system with forged engine internals. The result is an impressive 1,200 whp (895 kW). The power boost isn’t cheap and the owner paid 64,900 USD. The upgrade can be fitted onto Gallardo models produced between 2004 and 2008 while for the ones starting with 2009 the price is 67,900 USD.
