Lamborghini has just announced that its newest supercar, the Huracan, has recently arrived in India.
The newest vehicle to roll off the production line in Sant’Agata Bolognese, the Lamborghini Huracan, is getting ready to conquer a brand new market, India. According to the car manufacturer, the model in question has been launched recently in the Asian country. Its starting price has been set at Rs 3.4 Cr, or the equivalent of 340,000 GBP, plus taxes. India is not known for its passion in Lamborghini supercars and in 2011 the company managed to sell 14 units, in 2012 17 units and in 2013 22 units. This is nothing considering the fact that the country’s population stands at 1 billion.
The Lamborghini Huracan is the official replacement of the popular Gallardo. This has been officially presented to the public earlier this year, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in its final production form. The model is taking its power from the same 5.2 liter V10 engine, which has been upgraded, and it is now capable of producing no less than 602 HP (449 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque. This is enough to allow the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds and to reach a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph).
