The Italian based automaker Lamborghini has released a new teaser image with the upcoming Huracan GT3 race car, which should be unveiled in the near future.
The brand new Lamborghini Huracan GT3 is being placed into the spotlights, for the first time this year, with the help of a new teaser image, which has been released by the company. The photo posted above is not revealing that much but we can still see the supercar from its side and we can mention the more aggressive design, the larger wheels and, of course, the massive rear wing and rear diffuser, which should make a big difference between it and the standard model.
Squadra Corse, the Lamborghini racing division, along with racing squad Dallara, are handling most of the development of the racer. The Huracan GT3 is believed to get a roll cage inside it, along with a stripped interior design, with a racing steering wheel, a bucket seat with a five-point seatbelt and several other tweaks which should make the driver’s life easier during competitions.
We are not sure at the moment what engine we will be able to find under the hood of the Lamborghini Huracan GT3, but chances are that a modified version of the 5.2 liter V10, used on the street legal one, which might be slightly updated. The racer will be competing in the 2015 Blancpain Endurance Season and it will also take part in the Spa 24 Hours. More details on it are limited at this time.
