The first example of the brand new Lamborghini Huracan has been recently delivered to Lamborghini Beverly Hills.
Deliveries of the Lamborghini Huracan have begun as the newest supercar in the Italian based automaker’s lineup is arriving in different parts of the globe. This silver unit of the model has arrived in Beverly Hills. The Huracan is using a different chassis than its larger brother, the Aventador, and it also has a completely new design. The chassis will also be used on the next generation of the Audi R8 and it weighs 10 percent less than its predecessor, being also 50 percent stronger.
Lamborghini has officially unveiled the Huracan during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. This is offered in two body styles, coupe and roadster, with a rear mid-engine and all-wheel drive layout. Power is being provided by an upgraded version of the 5.2 liter V10 engine found on the Huracan, which is now rated at 602 HP (449 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque. Power is being sent to the wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 3.2 seconds in the new supercar and top speed stands at more than 325 km/h (202 mph).
