Lamborghini has recently introduced the Huracan LP610-4 to the North American continent, for the first time ever, as the model in question has recently made its debut locally at the 2014 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance.
The Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 has recently made its North American debut, during the 2014 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. The Italian supercar was presented by the company’s CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, who was able to meet potential customers and tell them about the new model.
“Since we began private previews of the Huracán earlier this year, more than 300 units have been pre-ordered by North American clients. The reception it received at the Amelia Island Concours this weekend matches that level of enthusiasm as well as the energy we saw from the global audience in Geneva”, said Winkelmann at Amelia Island.
As you probably already know so far, the new Lamborghini Huracan has been made mostly out of carbon fiber and it’s lighter and more rigid than the Gallardo. The platform of the model will be shared with the next Audi R8 generation. Power is being provided by an updated 5.2 liter V10 engine, which is rated at 602 HP (449 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque. The supercar can reach a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph).
