In the virtual world, at least, as it is rumored to debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The newest model to join the Lamborghini lineup will be the Huracan Spyder. The supercar will be based on the already available Huracan and it will come as a successor of the popular Gallardo Spyder. But before the Sant’Agata Bolognese based automaker will finally decide to pull the wraps off its body, rendering artists are going made.
The image posted above has been signed by AutoBild and it is showing us how the future roadster made by Lamborghini will be looking like. The only thing noticeable is obviously the lacking roof but we have no clue at this point whether this will be soft top or hard top, so we should better wait for its public debut, announced for the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show by various reports, in less than a couple of weeks.
The Lamborghini Huracan Spyder will be taking on models such as the Ferrari 488 Spider and the McLaren 650S Spider. It will be making use of the same 5.2 liter naturally aspirated V10 engine found on its solid roof brother, which is currently rated at 602 HP (449 kW) at 8,250 rpm and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque, available at 6,500 rpm. Power is sent to the AWD system through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Huracan Coupe can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds and it can go up to 325 km/h (202 mph).
