Lamborghini has debuted the Huracan Spyder in Hong Kong recently, where it celebrated its first arrival in the Asia Pacific region.
The brand new Lamborghini Huracan Spyder is the newest supercar to roll off the assembly line in Sant’Agata Bolognese (along with the Aventador SV Roadster) and it has been presented to the public at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, more than a month ago. But if you that this would be the last time you have heard about it, you’re so wrong, because the marketing machinery at Lamborghini has just started promoting it.
The exotic rear mid-engined and all-wheel drive supercar, with its open top, has just arrived in the Asia Pacific region for the very first time, debuting in Hong Kong. Rather than go for the regular dealership unveil, Lamborghini has displayed it on a specially-made outdoor stand. This came with a silver finish covering its body, the same shade used for the alloy wheels and the yellow brake calipers. Under its hood, the exotic vehicle has a 5.2 liter naturally aspirated V10 engine, producing 602 HP (449 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque. Power is sent to the AWD system through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing it to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.4 seconds. Its lightweight soft top can be dropped at speeds up to 30 mph in 17 seconds. The starting price of the Huracan Spyder, on the Old Continent, is 186,450 euros and deliveries will begin next spring.
