The first official images and details with the brand new Lamborghini Huracan LP 620-2 Super Trofeo have been officially released by the Italian based automaker.
Originally teased just a few weeks ago and leaked just a couple of days ago, the brand new Lamborghini Huracan LP 620-2 Super Trofeo is finally being placed into the spotlights in an official way, with the Italian based automaker officially pulling the wraps off its body. The model in question has been unveiled at this year’s edition of “The Quail, a Motorsport Gathering“, and it was basically developed in a collaboration with Dallara Egnineering.
A big word on the track only supercar came from Gian Paolo Dallara, who was involved in the development of the Miura, so this should be one interesting ride. The Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo is coming with an aerodynamic body kit, front and rear diffusers, adjustable front air intakes, adjustable rear wing, special Pirelli tires and more. Power is coming from a 5.2L V10 engine, providing an extra 10 HP (7.3 kW) to a total of 620 HP (456 kW). The supercar is now weighing 151 kg (332 lbs) less than its street version, standing in at 1,271 kg (2,800 lbs) and it now comes with rear-wheel drive. No performance details have been released. The track-only Italian ride will compete in the Blancpain Super Trofeo series, next year.
