The first rendering with the upcoming Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo is showing the new racer in a beefier version and with a green finish on its body.
After it was officially teased by the Italian based automaker just a week ago, the new Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a rendering, which is offering us a preview into what the model in question may turn out to be. The image posted above is showing a green and black finish for the upcoming race car which has also received a new aggressive body kit.
This is made out of the new front splitter, the extended fenders, the aerodynamic side skirts, the prominent rear wing and so on. The vehicle is also coming with new lightweight alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires and its cabin has been most likely stripped out. The Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo will be introduced next year and it will be used in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Series. It remains unknown what engine will Lamborghini use for the racer or if it will continue to offer the same 5.2 liter V10 with 602 HP (448 kW) found under the hood of the regular Huracan.
