A Lamborghini Miura supercar which has been originally purchased by Rod Stewart is currently being offered for sale.
One of the most beautiful cars to ever wear the “raging bull” logo on its body and what is considered to be the first ever supercar, the Lamborghini Miura, is being highlighted once again, this time in an example which has been owned originally by Rod Stewart. The model in question is currently being offered for sale by Amari Super Cars GB for 1.25m GBP or the equivalent of 1.69m EUR, at today’s exchange rates. The supercar is in RHD and it has been purchased back in 1971 by Rod Stewart from Lamborghini Concessionaires Ltd. of Alie Street, London.
Over the years, the particular ride has had several owners and all of them have took great care of it. Its odometer is currently showing 28,731 miles, or 46,238 km. This Lamborghini Miura was originally in the S specification version, getting 370 HP, 20 HP more than the standard model, larger brakes and some hardware updates but the current owner of the car has decided to turn it into the SV specification. He has also had it restored and the procedures cost him 100,000 GBP. The Miura has been put together in just 764 units between 1966 and 1973 and it was offered with a 2-door coupe body style, a transverse mid-engine and rear-wheel drive. It packed a 3,929cc V12 engine under its hood connected to a 5-speed manual transmission.
