Lamborghini Miura that belonged to Rod Stewart might be sold for more than one million image

The iconic rock star purchased this Lamborghini Miura as new back in 1971, but the P400 S has since been upgraded by the current owner into the feistier SV specification.

This beautiful blue 1971 Lamborghini Miura P400 S that once belonged to Rod Stewart is now looking for a different owner after last year Amari Super Cars GB had it up for sale at no less than £1.25 million ($1.5M). It was a bit too much at the time it seems, since it never sold, and it’s now popping back during an auction with the fetching price of anywhere between £800,000 and £900,000 ($976,000 to $1.1M). It’s also not really a P400 S because the owner decided for a conversion into the better SV specification after full restoration took place back in 2013.

The car has been reverted to its factory specification Blue Notte color and even has a period-correct pattern and carpets for the black interior. It’s a right hand drive Miuria – one of just 764 Miuras ever built by Lamborghini during the period of 1966 to 1973. Its 4.0-liter V12 engine was capable of 380 horsepower and 295 pound-feet (400 Newton-meters) of torque – and the car will be shown at the “The Classic & Sports Car Show” in London.
