We have always said here on inautonews.com that where ever there will be exotic cars there will also be exotic car crashes and the latest example of such an unfortunate incident is coming all the way from China, where a Lamborghini Murcielago has definitely seen better days. According to the guys at Wrecked Exotics, the Italian supercar in question has been rear-ended by a Ford Focus, after the hatchback has collided with a truck. The incident took place in Xi’An, China.
The driver of the Ford Focus won’t get away that easy because he was drunk driving. He got arrested, he will pay a large compensation fee and he is imposing imprisonment. As a quick reminder, the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 has been officially presented to the public back in 2006, during the Geneva Motor Show. The model is getting a 6.5 liter engine under its hood which is producing a total output of 640 PS (631 HP / 471 kW) at 8,000 rpm. The price for the Italian supercar in the United States was set at 318,800 USD MSRP.
