Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 DUI crashed in Germany image

A Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 has been recently crashed in Germany because of reckless driving and alcohol.

When writing about supercar crashes we are used to say that the driver has pushed the gas pedal too hard and lost control of the wheel but this isn’t the case here because the main role was played by alcohol. According to the guys at the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 in question was doing 120 mph when it crashed into traffic lights.

Our source is also saying that the 30-year old driver and the passenger of the Italian supercar were both drunk. Witnesses have saw them driving recklessly on the streets of Nurnberg, Germany. Fortunately, no one was injured in the crash, except for the supercar, which will need a complete makeover, and the driver’s ego, who will probably think twice before getting behind the wheel after having a few drinks.

As a quick reminder, the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 has been officially presented to the public back in 2006, during the Geneva Motor Show. The model is getting a 6.5 liter engine under its hood which is producing a total output of 640 PS (631 HP / 471 kW) at 8,000 rpm. The price for the Italian supercar in the United States was set at 318,800 USD MSRP.
