A Lamborghini Murcielago is being offered for sale in Bulgaria for 25,000 euros (31,500 USD / 19,900 GBP).
If you are looking for a new car and this new has got you all excited, hold on to your shorts because there is a catch. The Lamborghini Murcielago in question didn’t start its life as a Lamborghini supercar and it’s actually a replica, a very well made one we dare to say. The Italian supercar replica has been based on the Toyota MR2 and this is probably the model which gave birth to numerous other vehicles, after falling into the hands of numerous kit car makers.
The Toyota MR2 has been transformed over the years into a Gumper Apollo, a Ferrari F430 Spider, a Ferrari 460 Modena Spider, a Ferrari Enzo, a Ford Mustan Eleanor and a DragStar F1 Dragon, amongst others. The Lamborghini Murcielago replica in question is based on a 1992 MR2 and it’s powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 163 HP, mated to a manual transmission sending power to the rear wheels. The model has done 121,000 km and it’s in sale in Bulgaria for 25,000 euros.
