A very rare example of the Lamborghini Murcielago Super Veloce has been involved in a serious crash in China, recently.
Owning a supercar can be quite trickier than you probably think because most of these end up looking like the one pictured above, mostly because the driver doesn’t have enough experience with powerful rear-wheel drive supercars and he ends up pushing the throttle too hard and losing control of the wheel. Judging by the image above, this was a high speed crash as the front end was completely destroyed. The accident took place in Shenzhen, China, and we are not sure at this time how this happened, if anyone was hurt or if any other cars have been involved.
As you probably already know by now, the Lamborghini Murcielago has been replaced, almost four years ago, by the Aventador. The Murcielago used to be offered in two body styles, with the same rear mid-engine and all-wheel drive layout. The Murcielago Super Veloce (SV) has been created in just 186 units, despite Lamborghini planning to put together 350 units. This has been left aside because the company started making the preparations for the Aventador. This had 661 HP (493 kW) and 660 Nm (490 lb-ft) from the 6.5 liter V12 engine.
