Economic crisis? Where? Lamborghini announced today that the Italian sports car maker received ‘just’ 50 orders for the upcoming so-called Aventador LP700-4. Most interesting is that all 50 orders are from Singapore. As about the price? Well – Almost $1.5 mil.

The new car will be officially introduced at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show and promises to be the ultimate supercar.
2 days ago we presented the “Ordering Guide” for the LP700-4.

Official details for the LP700-4 from the ordering guide: 6.5-litre V12 engine, 700 hp and an impressive 650 Nm of torque.
The new engine will also use a new ISR (Independent Shifting Rod) transmission. According to Lamborghini, the new seven-speed single-clutch automated manual gearbox is considered the fastest on the market as it changes gears in only 50 milliseconds. That’s 15 to 20 milliseconds slower that a F1 gearbox.
