Lamborghini replicas sold in China for 52,000 euros image

The Chinese are selling Lamborghini replicas in their country for people who can’t afford the real deal, equipped with Toyota engines.

With millionaire numbers dropping by the day even in China, people are buying more replicas than real cars, which is the exact case of the Lamborghini brand. But if you think that a replica of a Lamborghini Murcielago is cheap, you’re wrong, because Chinese have to pay 52,000 euros before they will be able to get their hands on one and we won’t even start talking about the waiting time because it’s almost the as for a real Lamborghini Murcielago: five months.

Producing a replica after a Lamborghini supercar can’t be easy, even in the country where they’ve build the Great Wall, but that doesn’t mean that it’s impossible and similarity is 95 percent to the Italian vehicle. One of the biggest differences is under its hood, because the Lamborghini replica is getting a Toyota engine, 2.2 liters in displacement, which makes the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration take about 9 seconds. Top speed is 200 km/h, pretty lame for a Lamborghini. The Chinese company which is building the Lamborghini replicas is promising new V6 and V8 engines and for an extra 6,000 euros, they will also offer original Lamborghini rims, while for 1,100 euros, an original key will be offered.
