The Lamborghini Asterion will be officially attending the 2015 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.
The prestigious Italian marque has recently announced its plans of introducing the Asterion LPI910-4 Hybrid Coupe Concept during the 2015th edition of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este., at Lake Como, on the 23rd of May.
“Automobili Lamborghini is participating for the first time at the Concours d’Elegance at the Villa d’Este. The prestigious competition for classic cars takes place on 23 of May at the pare of Grand Hotel Villa d’Este, and on 24 May at Villa Erba, Cernobbio, on the shores of Lake Como”, said the carmaker in its official press release.
As you probably already know by now, the Lamborghini Asterion has been officially presented to the public back in 2014, during the Paris Motor Show, in a premiere. This is a one-off hybrid supercar which is taking aim at the Ferrari LaFerrari, the Porsche 918 Spyder and the McLaren P1. However, the Italian brand hasn’t confirmed a production version of the hypercar at this time but we will remind you that it is using the 5.2 liter V10 naturally aspirated gasoline burner found on the Huracan, rated at 610 HP, along with no less than three electric motors, generating an extra 300 HP. The total output of the model stands at an impressive 910 HP (669 kW) and it can be driven in electric mode for up to 50 km, at speeds lower than 125 km/h (78 mph). In hybrid mode, it needs 3 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) and it can go up to 320 km/h (199 mph).
