The official price set on the Lamborghini Veneno has recently leaked, reveling a whopping 3.1 million GBP which have to be paid for the brand new Italian supercar.
Rumors are saying that the Lamborghini Veneno is actually based on the Aventador Roadster and it’s not a unique creation, a rumor which if it turns out to be true it can be transformed into criticism for the Italian carmaker, just like McLaren has been criticized for the P1 because the same platform and internal combustion engine are being used on the hybrid supercar as well as on the MP4-12C and 12C Spider.
The Lamborghini Veneno has been produced in just 3 units and all of them have been sold out already, even if the price of one was set at a whopping 3.1 million GBP, which can be translated into 4.6 million USD or 3.57 million euros. The Lamborghini Veneno is powered by a 6.5 liter V12 engine, which is producing a total output of 740 HP (552 kW), mated to a seven-speed ISR robotized manual transmission. The supercar can accelerate up to 354 km/h (220 mph). The Lamborghini Veneno has been officially presented to the public a couple of weeks ago, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere.
