A white example of the impressive and rare Veneno Roadster has arrived recently at the Lamborghini Hong Kong dealership, where it received quite a welcoming.
In case you have forgotten all about the Lamborghini Veneno, after it has been officially unveiled a couple of years ago, don’t worry, because despite the attention steal of the three hybrid hypercars, the Ferrari LaFerrari, the Porsche 918 Spyder and the McLaren P1, this is still one appreciated ride, despite not having a hybrid powertrain. The model in question is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time by the Lamborghini Hong Kong dealership, where it will be exhibited from today, the 19th of January, 2015, until the 29th of January, at KCP Auto Plaza.
The Lamborghini Veneno, just like this Veneno Roadster, has been based on the Aventador and on the Aventador Roadster, respectively. Only 9 units of the impressive supercar have ever been put together and its price stood at a mind blowing 3.3 million euros. The Italian supercar in question was taking its power from a 6.5 liter V12 naturally aspirated engine, the same one found on the Aventador, connected to an ISR transmission with five selectable driving modes, whose power was lifted to 750 HP (551 kW) from 590 HP (510 kW). From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the 1,490 kg weighing vehicle needs just 2.9 seconds and top speed stands at 355 km/h (22 mph). The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster has been officially presented to the public, back in 2013, during the Geneva Motor Show.
