Lamborghini has officially pulled the wraps off the brand new and impressive Veneno Roadster, which will set you back for 3.3 million EUR.
Following the last weekend’s leak, the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is finally here as the Italian based automaker has released the first photo gallery and official details on the model. The Veneno Roadster has become the most expensive convertible money can buy as its starting price will be set at 3.3 million euros (2.79m GBP / 4.5m USD) but after paying this amount, don’t expect a roof as the supercar will only come with a rollover bar, which will improve the stability.
The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is powered by the same engine found in the Aventador, the 6.5 liter V12, which is producing a total output of 750 HP (552 kW) here. The unit is mated to an ISR transmission with five selectable modes, which is sending its power to all four wheels, allowing the 1,490 kg (3,278 lbs) supercar to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 355 km/h (220 mph). The power-to-weight ratio in the Veneno stands at 1.99 kg/HP. Nine units of the Veneno Roadster will be produced and the supercar will hit the assembly line in 2014.
