The Italian based automaker Lamborghini is apparently working on a convertible version of the Veneno supercar, which will be known as the Roadster.
The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster was one of the stars of the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, along with the McLaren P1 and the Ferrari LaFerrari, even if it has nothing in common with the hybrid supercars. The Veneno is a limited edition vehicle which is said to receive a drop top version. Only three units of the regular vehicle have been produced but rumors are saying that the roadster might get up to nine units. No pricing details on the Veneno Roadster are known for the moment.
As a quick reminder, the brand new Lamborghini Veneno is being provided by a 6.5 liter V12 engine, which is producing a total output of 740 HP (552 kW). The unit is mated to a seven-speed ISR robotized manual transmission which is allowing the supercar to reach a top speed of 354 km/h (220 mph). The Lamborghini Veneno has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, a few months ago.
