The Italian based automaker Lamborghini is planning to introduce its fastest ever supercar next month, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
According to the car manufacturer, the special supercar which will be unveiled next month during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show will celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary. The model in question will be the fastest ever supercar made by Lamborghini.
“Lamborghini will celebrate their 50th Anniversary by revealing something truly special at Geneva this year. It will be the fastest car Lamborghini has ever produced and will be very low volume. Less than 10 cars will be produced and most of them have most likely been sold”, as Filippo Perini, the Lamborghini design director, told Car Advice.
It is uncertain yet whether the supercar in question will be a direct rival for models like the upcoming Ferrari F150 or the new McLaren P1, or if this will just be a new one-off vehicle, like the Lamborghini Aventador J Speedster, unveiled a year ago, during the same Swiss automotive event. Unfortunately we don’t have any more details on this model so we will have to wait for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, where the supercar will make its public debut.
