Lancia has recently announced that the Flavia Red Carpet edition will be officially presented to the public at the 2012 Paris Motor Show on the 27th of September.
After it made its public debut during the Venice Film Festival earlier this year, the Lancia Flavia Red Carpet special edition is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the car manufactuer announcing that the model will be officially presented to the public on the 27th of September during the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Lancia says that in order to upgrade the Flavia and turn it into the Red Carpet special edition, the company has collaborated with Poltrona Frau.
This isn’t the first time when Lancia is collaborating with Potrona Frau and the two companies have been working together since 1920, when Vicenzo Lancia contacted Renzo Frau in order to equip the cars with special leather upholstery. Just like the regular version of the Lancia Flavia, the Red Carpet Special Edition will still be powered by the 2.4 liter engine, which is producing a total output of 175 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 225 Nm, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Prices for this version haven’t been announced yet but the regular variant can be bought from 42,900 euros on the Old Continent.
