The Italian manufacturer has chosen Frankfurt to introduce the Voyager S and the Delta MY 14, which will be available to purchase on the major European markets from January 2014. Alongside, there will also be two Ypsilon special editions – the Elefantino and S Momodesign.
First up we have the Voyager S, that expands the so-called “S” line, which before was only comprised of the Ypsilon S Momodesign and the Delta S by Momodesign.
On the outside, the new version is characterised by the brand new glossy black chrome plated front grille, new 17″ glossy black alloy wheels and the ‘S’ logo on the tailgate The same stylistic language is to be found on the inside too, characterised by black leather and fabric with grey stitching, the same as on the front door panels, gloss black trim on the dashboard and steering wheel inserts and the ‘S’ logo on the front seat backrests.
Depending on the market, the range is made up of three trim levels (Silver, Gold and Platinum) and two engines: the new 178 hp 2.8L turbodiesel and the 283 hp 3.6L V6 Pentastar petrol engine.
For the 2014 model year, the compact offering – Delta – comes with some cosmetic changes to the exterior and interior: it features side skirts and body colored front and rear bumpers, as well as twin chrome exhaust pipes while on the inside we have new trim on the central console in glossy black, like the climate control display, and matt back for the steering wheel insert, instrument panel, buttons and central console trims.
Also, the smallest model in the line-up, the Ypsilon comes in two new flavors – Elefantino, designed to appeal primarily to young women drivers and ‘S MOMODESIGN’ which flaunts its appeal towards male buyers.
