Lancia has recently revealed a special edition of its Ypsilon, named the Black&Red, with the model being scheduled to be officially presented to the public at the 2011 Bologna Motor Show which will open its gates on December 3, 2011.

With the Los Angeles Motor Show keeping everyone busy and the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show, Lancia is placing its “local” automotive event into the spotlights by announcing that its Ypsilon Black&Red special edition will be officially unveiled during the 2011 Bologna Motor Show which is scheduled to start on December 3, 2011, in Italy.

According to the car manufacturer, the Ypsilon Black&Red is targeted at young male drivers and even if it doesn’t offer a lot of muscle, the model is quite appealing and its design can definitely rival with any other hatchback. Lancia says that its Ypsilon Black&Red special edition comes with a choice of two engines, the 1.2 liter which is developing a total output of 69 horsepower and the 1.3 liter turbodiesel, generating 95 horsepower.

As you can see from the photo gallery, the Lancia Ypsilon Black&Red will be available with just the Argilla Red, Vulcano Black, Fiamma Redand two-tone Argilla Red with Vulcano Black roof. The color palette is continued on the inside too, where the interior gets a two-tone red and black makeover. A better sound system has been installed to the special edition, along with standard electric windows up front and 15 inch alloy wheels.
