After being presented to the public not long ago, Lancia has decided to officially unveil its latest creation, the Black & Red Ypsilon, at the 36th edition of the Bologna Motor Show.

According to the manufacturer, the Lancia Ypsilon will be offered with a choice of four body colors, two shades of red, black and a two-tone version which has a red body, a black roof and black bonnet. The colors are continued in the cabin too, with the black and red theme on the seats, door panels and dashboard. Lancia says that the Black & Red special edition will be offered with Gold trim, and even if it will lose some comfort equipment, it will gain an uprated audio system, privacy windows and new 15 inch alloy wheels.

The Black & Red Lancia Ypsilon will be available with the 1.2 liter Fire engine, developing 69 horsepower, and with the larger 1.3 liter MultiJet II turbodiesel unit, generating a total output of 95 horsepower. According to the automaker, the Lancia Ypsilon Black & Red is being targeted at young male drivers, and, even if it doesn’t offer a lot of muscle, the model is quite appealing and its design can definitely rival with any other hatchback. The Lancia Ypsilon Black & Red is already on sale in Europe.
