Any standard-wheelbase Range Rover model from the current generation can be hooked to Land Rover’s new SVO Design Pack – and that includes any previously-sold Range Rover.
Jaguar land Rover is making a move to snatch clients from the aftermarket scene – offering the new SVO Design Pack either as optional equipment for a new order or as a retrofit is something you would expect from a tuner. Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations unit created the new add-on at its technical center in Coventry, Great Britain and comes with numerous modifications. For the exterior we have new front and rear bumpers, a reworked grille, new side sills – all in a range of finishes: Gloss Black, Graphite Atlas, Dark Atlas, and Atlas. The exterior styling is complete with the new quad exhaust tips fitted to the upgraded bumper. LR also says this can be added to any trim – even the 550-hp SVAutobiography Dynamic – and also alongside any other pack.
This new optional exterior styling pack is certainly going to make the popular but older Evoque interesting again, while it might bode well with the svelte image projected by the new Velar. Not to mention the Range Rover is going to sport a major novelty in the near future – a plug-in hybrid version is being tested in prototype form and is rumored to arrive before the end of next year. The SVO Design Pack is being offered across Europe and the dealers at home are asking at least £10,400.
