The facelifted version of the Land Rover Discovery has been recently caught on camera by our spy photographers and the model is said to bring a lot of interesting “new” items.
The British based automaker Land Rover is planning to upgrade the Discovery and even if the model in question can be called anything but out-of-date, the company is still working on a refreshed version of the SUV. The images posted below represent spy photos of the 2014 Land Rover Discovery and they reveal the covered up headlights, fog lamps and taillights, so our guess is that the exterior changes will stop here.
The most important part of the facelifted Land Rover Discovery will be found under its hood, where the model in question will receive the same supercharged V6 engine from the Jaguar F-Type S, which will produce a total output of 375 HP. The 2014 Land Rover Discovery will also get the ZF eight-speed transmission but the nine-speed automatic gearbox, which will become standard in the small Evoque, will not make its way onto the model. Additional details on the facelifted Land Rover Discovery are limited for the moment and will probably be announced over the following months.
