Our spy photographers have managed to capture, once again, the upcoming Land Rover Discovery Sport on camera, somewhere in the United States, while it was being tested.
A test mule of the Land Rover Discovery Sport has been caught on camera once again by our spy photographers. This is the first time when the model in question is being seen in the United States and, at a second look, we can see that it is significantly larger than its predecessor. The good news won’t stop here because the vehicle is said to ride on the same platform used on the five-door Range Rover Evoque.
Rumors are saying that the styling of the new Land Rover Discovery Sport will be influenced by the one of the Range Rover Sport, in its new generation, and also by its platform brother, the Range Rover Evoque. The sloping roofline is giving it a sportier design, along with the tailgate mounted spoiler or the dual exhaust system. As far as the engine lineup goes, this might include the 2.2 liter diesel, with 150 HP or 150 HP or the 2.0 liter petrol burner with 240 HP. More details on the model remain unknown for the moment.
