Land Rover has recently introduced the Defender LXV special edition, as part of the company’s 65th anniversary.
The British based automaker Land Rover is currently celebrating its 65th anniversary and what better way to do this than by introducing a special edition of an iconic model. The vehicle in question is the Defender and the special edition is named the LXV. The model will be offered in five different body styles and it will also get the contrast orange stitching, the LXV embossed in the front headrests or the 16-inch Sawtooth style alloy wheels.
The Land Rover Defender LXV is powered by a 2.2 liter diesel engine, which is producing a total output of 122 HP (90 kW), at 3,500 rpm, and it has a peak torque of 360 Nm (265 lb-ft), available at 2,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission, which is allowing the Land Rover Defender LXV to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 14.7 seconds. Additional details on the Land Rover Defender LXV special edition, including its price list, remain unknown for the moment, and will be announced close to its launch.
