Land Rover has recently introduced the 2014 Range Rover and 2014 Range Rover Sport, which are now coming with a series of updates for the new model year.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2014 Range Rover can now be equipped with the Black Design Pack, which is adding the gloss black accents on the front grille, on the side vents, on the side mirrors and on the door handles, along with the new 21- or 22-inch alloy wheels. Changes in the cabin are limited and they include the new front seats and the upgraded rear-seat entertainment, which now has larger 10.2-inch displays. Safety options include the LDW, Traffic Sign Recognition and Parking Exit.
Besides the 2014 Range Rover, the 2014 Range Rover Sport is also coming with a new 4.4 liter SDV8 diesel engine, which is good for 339 HP (249 kW) and 700 Nm of torque (516 lb-ft). The unit is mated to an eight-speed ZF transmission, which is helping the vehicle sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds before reaching the 225 km/h (140 mph) top speed. The two models will also be offered with a Hybrid version, which is getting the SDV6 turbo diesel along with an electric motor, generating 47 HP (35 kW). The total output will stand at 340 HP (250 kW) and 700 Nm of torque (516 lb-ft).
